While you can make an appointment prior to obtaining a referral you must have a current referral at the time of consultation in order to receive a Medicare rebate.

Initial Consultation $150.00 (Medicare Rebate $73.85)
Subsequent Consultation $80.00 (Medicare Rebate $37.15)

For your convenience we are able to process your Medicare claim at the time of your payment.

EFTPOS facilities available.

UNE and TAFE New England Students on presentation of their student card will receive a discount of $30 on an Initial consultation and $10 on Subsequent consultations. The Medicare rebates remain the same as those above.

All Veterans Affairs patients, Aged Pensioners and Disability Pensioners will be Bulk Billed upon presentation of their entitlement card.

Appointment waiting periods can vary. If you require an urgent appointment we suggest you discuss it with your General Practitioner. If your GP feels the matter is urgent the GP can contact our office and forward us the referral. We do not make urgent appointments without sighting the referral.

Your appointment may be delayed as we try to devote adequate time to each patient’s needs, sometimes this may take longer than their allocated time. Appointments may also need to be delayed or rescheduled due to Dr Diebold attending emergencies and trauma at the Hospital.

  • Medicare Card
  • Veterans Affairs Card if applicable
  • Pension Card if applicable.
  • Referral (unless sent prior by your General Practitioner)
  • Any x-rays, scans or pathology results related to your referral. Please note Dr Diebold is able to access/view x-rays, scans and Ultrasounds done at Armidale Radiology and Hunter New England Health Facilities online.
  • Private Health Fund Details if applicable.

For your convenience we have EFTPOS available.

We also accept cash, cheques and major credit cards.

Our Medicare Easyclaims system allows your Medicare rebate to be directly deposited back into your account. This can be processed on the day of your appointment.

To enable us to bill your Workers Compensation Insurer directly we need the following information.

  • Employer
  • Workers Compensation Insurance Company and contact details
  • Date of injury
  • Claim number

To enable us to bill your Solicitor directly we need their contact details and the date of your accident/injury. Please provide a claim number if available.

These appointments can only be made and rescheduled by the company making the appointment. If you need to reschedule a medico-legal appointment please contact the company directly.
